Black and White Photography of Woman

Madame Curie (DVD) Mervyn LeRoy directed this excellent biography of the life of Madam Curie, the Polish woman who discovered radium. The film presents the scientific black and white photography of woman and romantic life of Curie with great authenticity, basing the story on the biography by Curie?s daughter, Eve. Greer Garson stars as a stunning woman too in love with science to have time for men. Walter Pidgeon plays her perfect complement, a man who thinks of an effective marriage as a form of chemical compound. He`s right--the chemistry between the two stars is excellent, black and white photography of woman and the black-and-white photography by Joseph Ruttenberg is gorgeous. From the work in the lab to the honeymoon, the story line is treated with an integrity black and white photography of woman and intelligence that makes it as educational as it is intriguing. Rocketship X-M (DVD) Lloyd Bridges stars as spaceship pilot Colonel Graham in this 1950 sci-fi film about a group of four astronauts (three men, one woman) whose trip to the moon is ruined when a solar wind blows them off course, forcing them to land on Mars. There, they find a primitive society of beings that bear a striking resemblance to humans. One of the better sci-fi films to come out of the 1950s, ROCKETSHIP X-M is a serious thriller that boasts excellent black black and white photography of woman and white photography (the Mars scenes have an eerie red tint), fine acting, black and white photography of woman and mixes an intriguing plot black and white photography of woman and sophisticated science with some rather bizarre fifties naivete, making for a thoroughly entertaining trip into space.
