Passion (DVD)

Allan Dwan once again ventures into cattle country in a film starring Cornel Wilde as Mexican cattleman Juan Obregon. When he returns to the ranch of his friend, Gaspar Melo (John Qualen), Juan finds that he's become a father due to a brief dalliance with one of Gaspar's twin daughters, Rosa (Yvonne de Carlo). Overjoyed, he goes to the church to begin arranging for a wedding. While he's gone, Don Domingo (Richard Hale), a cattleman who's contested the validity of Gaspar's claim on his ranch, attacks the ranch, burning it to the ground, child photo contest and kills the old man child photo contest and Rosa.
